IMC is a Software Engineering Institute (SEI) Partner
The SEI is a federally funded research and development center that is part of Carnegie Mellon University. The SEI establishes standards for excellence in software engineering, computer security and process improvement, and helps organizations achieve those standards. The SEI program includes formal certification recognized throughout commercial, nonprofit and government organizations. Certification, which indicates levels of competence in generally used IT technologies and methodologies, is measured according to the Capability Maturity Model Integration® (CMMI) and is generally accepted as evidence that software development organizations have achieved superior status. The SEI has only accepted 158 organizations in the U.S. for partner status. IMC is actively working on becoming level 3 CMMI-SW accredited.
IMC is Defense Security Services (DSS) Accredited
IMC is accredited to process government Secret and Top Secret classified materials, and has been rated Superior by DSS for the last three consecutive rating periods. DSS has also awarded IMC the 2007 Cogswell Award, placing us in the top 2% of all DSS-rated companies.
